Geometry Question

Can you help me with this geometry question? 🧐

Learner

Let's break it down! 📐

9.1.1) For Ô₁:

The angle at the centre is double the angle at the circumference.
Since Ê = 39° (given), then:
Ô₁ = 78° (angle at centre = 2 × ∠ at circumference)

9.1.2) For Ô₂:

Equal chords subtend equal angles at the centre.
Since AB = DC (given), then:
Ô₂ = 78° (equal chords; equal ∠s)

💡
Exam Tip

"This whole question collapses the instant you spot the 39°. It already fixes the centre angle at 78° — the rest of the diagram is just noise."

I don't understand stoichiometry 😭

Learner

You're not bad at stoichiometry — you're just starting in the wrong place.

Almost every mistake comes from skipping one step.

Common mistake:

🔴Forgetting to convert mass → moles first

But I get confused about when to use the mole ratio

Learner

Good question — this is the exact turning point.

"Stoichiometry only works in moles. Mass is just the disguise."

So what's the correct order?

Learner

This is the exam-safe order. Every time. No exceptions:

1Write the balanced equation
2Convert given values to moles
3Use the mole ratio
4Convert to what the question asks for

Miss step 2 and the whole question collapses.

Is that why I always lose method marks?

Learner

Exactly. And force every question into moles first — even if it fights you.

Discovery Exam Tip

"Stoichiometry is not a calculation problem. It's a conversion problem pretending to be chemistry."

Diabetes mellitus
Type 1 and Type 2 control.
Exam tip: Mention insulin and lifestyle.
Exam Tip

Animal Nutrition questions are process questions, not memorise everything questions. If you can run this chain confidently, you can answer most exams: Ingestion → Digestion → Absorption → Transport → Assimilation → Egestion. Most learners lose marks because they know facts but cannot say where the process is happening.

Quick Check (marked like an exam)

A learner says: "Food is digested in the small intestine, so absorption also happens in the stomach." Is that correct? Explain in 1 to 2 lines.
